Get to Know Us – In-house meet and greet

We invite you into our showroom for a complimentary one-hour design tour and sit down! You’ll be partnered with an expert designer to explore our collections and find a style that truly feels like "you."

To make the most of our time together, please come prepared with:

· Dimensions of your space.

· Current photos of the area to be transformed.

· Inspiration photos (Pinterest, magazines, or saved clips).

· A target budget. Providing a budget range helps us work efficiently on your behalf. It allows our designers to curate a selection of products that hit your aesthetic goals while staying within your financial comfort zone. It’s the key to a stress-free design process!

Following our complimentary one-hour design tour and sit-down, we will create an initial proposal providing early cost guidance before drawings are prepared. This will happen within 72 hours to one week, depending on the scope of work. We will then schedule a follow up appointment to review it together, either in person or online.

Getting the process started – Design Fees and Site Measure

Once you are ready to move forward with our proposal, we will begin with a design fee of $1,000.00 plus HST. This allows your designer to visit your home for a professional site measure and create detailed drawings for up to three rooms, including one set of revisions to get everything just right.

While this fee is non-refundable and the initial drawings remain with Rocpal, the full amount is credited toward your final contract. We ask for this initial investment because our team pours a great deal of love and expertise into every detail to ensure your home is exactly as you envisioned. You will receive your own full set of drawings upon the first contract payment.

Depending on the scope of work, this stage takes about 1–2 weeks. We’ll meet in person at the showroom to review the design and the updated pricing from our site measurements. Rest assured, we’re keeping your budget and financial comfort in mind throughout the process

Committing to Rocpal – Signing your contract

When everything feels right, we invite you to "lock in" your project by signing your contract and submitting a 60% deposit. This officially guarantees your spot in our production cycle. We’ll continue to perfect the design with you, but please note that this payment confirms your intent to complete the project with us and is the final step in moving out of the planning phase.

If your project includes appliances, it is critical that they are purchased (rather than just reserved) at this stage. Because models are discontinued frequently and every unit has unique clearance requirements, our designers need your specific model numbers to ensure a perfect fit. Once provided, we will update your design so you can visualize the final result with 100% accuracy.

Once all information is collected and ready to go our designers will put together the production package and final sign off package. Depending on how long it takes to fine tune your envision, will depend on how soon we can drop it into production.

Finalizing your Design and Sending off to production – You did it! With your selections complete, we’re handing your vision over to our production team to bring it to life.

Once you have finalized your drawings and confirmed there are no further revisions, your project will move into the production phase. Delivery and installation of your custom cabinetry typically begins within 10 to 12 weeks of entering production.

You may wonder why this stage requires this timeframe. It is because our cabinetry is meticulously hand-built locally, in-house, and made-to-order using as much Canadian-sourced material as possible. Each piece moves through a dedicated journey: from detailed engineered drawings and precise material sourcing to fabrication, hand finishing, assembly, and careful packaging.

Three days before your delivery your designer will reach out to you to collect 35% of your contract.

Delivery and Installation – Watching your envision come to life

Your handcrafted cabinets have been beautifully built and are ready for their new home! Our insured installers have years of experience and an incredible eye for detail.

We build our cabinetry differently than other companies to allow for a smoother, faster installation. We complete as much as possible in-house so there are fewer visible nail or screw marks once installed. While we can’t hide everything, as we must ensure every piece is securely fastened to last a lifetime, you’ll have a hard time finding the installation marks! Our team treats your home with respect, tidying up as they work so you can simply "wow" over the transformation.

Depending on the scale of your project, installation can take a day or two for a bathroom or custom unit, or about a week for a full kitchen. For a complete home transformation, our team will provide a tailored timeline so you know exactly what to expect.

On the final day of your installation, as we put the finishing touches on your space, your Designer will reach out to collect the final 5% payment on your contract. This marks the official completion of the build phase and clears the way for your final walk-through!

If your project includes solid surface countertops, please note that templating occurs once the base cabinets are installed. Final installation typically takes two weeks from the date of templating.

Completion – Your vision is now a reality. It’s time to enjoy your space.

Your space is now complete! Your designer will join you for a final walk-through and the signing of your warranty, which begins on the final day of installation. Our warranty covers you for up to five years (outside of natural wear and tear) and includes any service needs that may arise.
